    1. Historic Belleville  Events

    November and December 2025

    The city of Belleville is offering a variety of holiday activities: concerts and gingerbread, movies and markets, parades and parties, walks and workshops, and more! Check out the official holiday events page for information on the below events and more.

    2. Family Bowling at Stars & Strikes Bowling Center

    November and December 2025

    If you're hearing cries of "I'm bored!" during the holiday vacation, pack up the gang and head out for some relaxing fun for the entire family.

    Located conveniently on base, the Stars & Strikes Bowling Center hosts family discounts (recent listing shows $2 games), weekday lunch specials, Cosmic Bowling, and holiday events. Bowling with the Grinch, anyone?

    3. Scott AFB Holiday Tree Lighting

    Friday, December 5, 2025, 4:30 p.m.–7:00 p.m

    At the Scott Event Center, this free family event includes the tree lighting ceremony, crafts for kids, hot dogs, chips, soft drinks, cocoa, and cookies. Don't miss a photo op with Santa and the promise of "festive surprises."

    4. Cut-Your-Own Christmas Trees at Eckert’s Belleville Farm

    November 15–16, then daily November 22–December 21, 2025

    Ideal for a cozy day out, visit Eckert’s Belleville Farm (Belleville location) starting the weekend of November 15, 2025 for a tree-cutting experience (cut your own or choose a pre-cut tree), hot cocoa, and family fun. See the Eckert's calendar for updates and more events.

    5. Scott AFB Arts & Crafts

    November and December Classes

    Scott AFB Arts & Crafts Center is offering plenty of classes and ideas to flex your creative muscles over the holiday season. Try wreath making, crochet, hand knitting, pottery wheel and handbuilding, or simply stop by to replenish your own crafting supplies. 

    On December 16, pay $3 an hour to use the center's supplies and finish your gift wrapping!

    6. Breakfast with Santa

    December 6, 2025

    Join the Scott AFB’s Youth Programs for their annual Breakfast with Santa. The kids have options to ride the big Toboggan Slide, drink hot cocoa, or even engage in a snowball fight. Enjoy a special breakfast with Santa present to give out gifts and stockings.

    Cost is $10 to enjoy all activities. Space is limited, and reservations are required. For more details, call (618) 256-5139.

    7. St. Louis Holiday Historic House Tour

    December 4, 2025

    Step back in time with a holiday tour of the historic Campbell House Museum, Chatillon-DeMenil House, and Field House Museum. This one-night-only event will also feature holiday refreshments at each location. 

    reservations are $30 per person with limited reservations at the door of each house $40 on the day of the event.

    8. Holiday and Christmas Shows at the St. Louis Theater

    November and December 2025

    Enjoy ballet, theater, or music? There's something for you! Check the St. Louis Theater website for information on shows like:

    9. Candy Cane Hunt

    December 6, 2025

    The City of Chesterfield Parks, Recreation, & Arts is hosting a candy cane hunt with designated areas grouped by age. There will be a special holiday guest appearance, crafts, and treats. For ages 2-12. 

    10. WonderLight’s Christmas Drive-Through Light Show

    November 14, 2025–January 4, 2026

    Stay warm in the car while enjoying giant light displays accompanied by synchronized traditional and new Christmas music. Over 1 million LED lights line this drive. 

    Pre-purchasing tickets online is recommended. Cost is $30 per car.
