    MilitaryByOwner at MOAA Spouse Symposium in D.C. Metro Area

    moaa-mastheadMilitaryByOwner Advertising is a proud sponsor of the MOAA (Military Officers Association of America) Spouse Symposium in Alexandria, Virginia on Monday, March 23, 2015. 
     
    This event is free and open to all active duty, reserve, National Guard, retiree, veteran, and surviving military spouses, service members, and veterans. The theme for this year's professional development conference is "Keeping a Career on the Move®."

    Registration and Location

    Monday, March 23rd, from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. (Registration opens at 8:15 a.m.)

    The Westin Alexandria, 400 Courthouse Square, Alexandria, VA 22314

    What to Expect

    The keynote address will be delivered by Congresswoman Elise Stefanik (R-NY-21), the youngest women ever elected to the House of Representatives. 

    The opening panel, “Nuts and Bolts of Spouse Employment,” will focus on state and federal policies, national programs, installation resources, and local employment and educational opportunities that assist military spouses in advancing their career opportunities.

    After lunch, military spouses will lead a “Real Spouses, Real Stories” discussion. Attendees will learn about fellow military spouses who have navigated a wide variety of industries and strategic volunteerism opportunities to keep their careers on the move while "married to the military."
