    Big List of 2023 Veterans Day Discounts and Deals

    Each year, to show their appreciation of military and veterans, many restaurants, retailers, and local businesses offer free meals, discounted merchandise, and free admission during the week of Veterans Day. This year, the holiday falls on Saturday, November 11, with federal employees observing the day on November 10.

    If you’re interested in getting out for a meal, a visit to the many attractions across the country, or a bit of shopping, take a moment to peruse our annual list of Veterans Day Discounts and Deals to see if any of them pique your interest!

    To take advantage of the following deals, you must be a veteran or active duty service member and be able to present proof of service.     7-Eleven: 7-Eleven, Speedway and Stripes are offering a free Quarter-Pound Big Bite 100% all-beef hot dog in honor of veterans. Download the 7-Eleven app and sign in or register.  

    Applebee's: Enjoy a complimentary full-size entrée from an exclusive menu created just for you when dining at Applebee’s

    BJ’s Brewhouse: Receive a free Chocolate Chunk Pizookie® with a minimum purchase of $11.95. Dine-in only. Current and former military who dine on 11/11/2023 can receive a free appetizer coupon on their next visit with a $14.95 purchase.

    Bob Evans: Bob Evans is offering a special menu of seven homestyle favorites available to veterans and active duty military free. Dine-in only. 

    California Pizza Kitchen: All veterans and active military are invited to dine and receive a complimentary non-alcoholic beverage and choice of one entrée from their special menu. In addition, CPK is partnering with DAV (Disabled American Veterans) to host a nationwide fundraiser in its restaurants from November 6 to November 8 to support the nonprofit organization’s programs and services for veterans and their families.

    Charleys Cheesesteaks: Free order of Gourmet Fries for all veterans and active duty servicemembers. Available in-store only. 

    Chili's: All veterans and active military members can get a free meal from select items at all participating Chili's Grill & Bar restaurants. Available for in-restaurant only. Call ahead to your local Chili's restaurant if you have any questions about Veterans Day meals. 

    Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers: All veterans and active military personnel who visit Freddy’s on Veterans Day will receive a free Freddy’s Original Double with Cheese combo meal card. No purchase is necessary to receive this special offer. Cards may be redeemed through November 30, 2023.

    Golden Corral: Get a free dinner in honor of Military Appreciation Night at Golden Corral on Monday, November 13, 5 p.m. to closing. 

    IHOP: Veterans and active duty military get free Red, White & Blueberry Pancakes at participating locations, from 7 am to 7 pm. Dine in only, 1 per guest. Restrictions apply. Military ID or proof of service required. See restaurant for details. 

    Lucille's Smokehouse Bar-B-Que: Choice of complimentary meal on November 10 and 11, and receive a $10 thank you redeemable for your next visit between November 24 through December 3. Dine-in only. Must show proof of service or military ID.

    Red Lobster: Red Lobster® is offering veterans, active duty, and reservists a free printed meal vouchers for Veterans Shrimp & Chips from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm local time on Saturday, November 11, 2023. The voucher can be redeemed from November 13 through Sunday, December 10 for dine-in only. Guests need to show a valid military ID or proof of service to redeem this offer. 

    Starbucks: Enjoy a free tall (12-ounce) hot or iced coffee for veterans, military service members, and military spouses at participating U.S. Starbucks stores. 

    White Castle: Get a free Combo Meal or Breakfast Combo Meal at participating restaurants.

    2023 Veterans Day Retail Deals and Discounts

    Academy Sports + Outdoors: Military, veterans, and first responders enjoy 10% off their purchase in-store and online now through November 12

    Bumblebee Linens: To thank you for the sacrifices you make every day, Bumblebee Linens offers an extra 10% discount. Thank you for your service!

    Grace for Vets: Get a free car wash on Veterans Day.

    Great Clips: On Veterans Day, veterans and active service members can go into any U.S. Great Clips salon and get a free haircut or a free haircut card for a future visit. In addition, non-military customers who get a haircut on Veterans Day at Great Clips salons will also have the opportunity to pay it forward. They can receive a free haircut card to give to an active service member or veteran they know as a way of saying thank you. The cards can be redeemed for a free haircut from November 12 through December 1, 2023.

    Home Depot: Get 10% off your purchase all year. 

    Office Depot and OfficeMax: These office supplies stores offer 25% off qualifying in-store purchases from November 11- 13.

    Kohl's: 30% off in-store purchases for active and former military personnel, veterans and their families from Friday, November 10 - Sunday, November 12. Valid military ID is required. 

    Lovesac: Lovesac is giving Military Personnel, First Responders, Healthcare Workers, Teachers, and Veterinary Professionals 5% off. Apply for the discount through SheerID™. Offer cannot be combined with any other promotional discounts. 

    PC Liquidations: PC Liquidations has a goal of giving back. As part of that commitment, they offer a 10% discount for military and veterans.

    Publix: Veterans and active military personnel are invited to save 10% on groceries on Veterans Day. This offer excludes prescriptions, alcohol, tobacco, gift cards, lottery tickets, postage stamps, and money services. Valid for in-store purchases only.

    Rack Room Shoes: Get 10% off your in-store purchase every day and 20% off on Veterans Day.

    Sleep Number: All active, veteran, retired, and reservist personnel of the US armed forces can enjoy a 20% discount on most smart beds, bases, and bedding through November 13. 

    Sport Clips: On Veterans Day, participating Sport Clips locations will provide free haircuts to veterans and active duty service members with valid proof of service. 

    Target: Target is offering a 10% discount for active-duty military and veterans, as well as their spouses and children to honor their service this Veterans Day. 

    TOPS: Veterans and military will get 11% off their total purchase on Veterans Day.

    Walgreens: Take 20% off eligible regular price items with myWalgreens® in store only. Offer valid November 10-13.

    2023 Veterans Day Military Travel and Recreation Discounts

    9/11 Memorial and Museum: Complimentary Museum admission to the military and veteran community, including U.S. active and retired military, U.S. military veterans, and Blue and Gold Star Families November 8 through November 12. Due to capacity constraints, advance reservations are encouraged and can be made on the website here.   

    Aquarium of the Pacific: Free admission on Veterans Day. To receive free admission, veterans and active military personnel should make an online reservation in advance here

    Cincinnati Zoo: Free admission on Veterans Day. This offer also allows military personnel to purchase up to six half-price admission tickets for their immediate family members.

    Colonial Williamsburg: Free admission during Veterans Day weekend, November 10 through November 12, to all active duty military, reservists, retirees, veterans, National Guardsmen, and their immediate dependents.

    Monticello: Enjoy complimentary admission to Monticello for Veterans Day weekend, November 10 through November 12. Admission is for the Monticello Self-Guided Pass, Gardens and Grounds Pass, or the Highlights Tour

    Mount Vernon: Free admission on Veterans Day.

    National WWI Museum and Memorial: Free general admission November 10 through November 12.

    North Carolina Zoo: Free admission for military personnel and veterans and free admission for one accompanying guest for Military Appreciation Week, November 6 through November 12.

    San Antonio Zoo: Free admission for active duty, retired, veterans, national guard, and reserves for the month of November. Plus, up to four immediate family members can receive 50% off Any Day Tickets on date of visit.
