Each year, to show their appreciation of military and veterans, restaurants, retailers, and local businesses offer free meals, discounted merchandise, and free admission during the week of Veterans Day. In 2024, the holiday falls on Monday, November 11.

Applebee's: Enjoy a complimentary full-size entrée from an exclusive menu. Offer valid for dine-in only.
BJ’s Brewhouse: Receive a free Chocolate Chunk Pizookie® with no minimum food purchase on November 11. Dine-in only. Additionally current and former military can receive a free appetizer 11/12/2024 through 12/31/2024 with no minimum food purchase. Must present coupon and show valid military ID. Offer cannot be combined with additional offers and discounts.
Bob Evans: Bob Evans is offering a special menu of seven homestyle favorites available to veterans and active-duty military free. Dine-in only.
California Pizza Kitchen: All veterans and active military are invited to dine and receive a complimentary entrée and drink from their special menu on November 11. Additionally, veterans and active-duty service members dining at CPK on Veterans Day will receive a Buy One Get One coupon as a thank-you for their service. The coupon is good for any pizza, pasta, or salad and is valid for a future visit from November 12 to November 25, 2024.
Chili's: Veterans and active military members can get a free meal from select items at participating Chili's Grill & Bar restaurants. Available for in-restaurant only. Call ahead to your local Chili's restaurant for questions about Veterans Day meals.
Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers: Veterans and active military personnel who visit Freddy’s on Veterans Day will receive a free combo meal card. No purchase is necessary to receive this special offer. Cards may be redeemed through December 31, 2024.
Golden Corral: Get a free dinner in honor of Military Appreciation Night at Golden Corral on Monday, November 11, 4 p.m. to close.
IHOP: Veterans and active-duty military get free Red, White & Blueberry Pancakes at participating locations. Dine in only, one per guest. Restrictions apply. Military ID or proof of service required. See restaurant for details.
Peet’s Coffee: Get one free drip coffee or tea on Monday, November 11, 2024. Must show military ID to redeem at participating locations.
Red Lobster: Red Lobster® is offering veterans, active duty, and reservists a free Veterans Shrimp & Chips meal on November 11. Guests need to show a valid military ID or proof of service and dine in to redeem this offer.
Starbucks: Enjoy a free tall (12-ounce) hot or iced coffee for veterans, military service members, and military spouses at participating U.S. Starbucks stores.
Texas Roadhouse: Dine in on November 11 from 11 am to 2 pm and enjoy a meal from a select menu or receive a voucher to use between November 12 through May 30, 2025.
White Castle: Get a free Combo Meal or Breakfast Combo Meal at participating restaurants.

Academy Sports + Outdoors: Military, veterans, and first responders enjoy 10% off their purchase in-store and online now through November 11.
Bumblebee Linens: To thank you for the sacrifices you make, Bumblebee Linens offers an extra 10% discount every day. Thank you for your service!
Grace for Vets: Get a free car wash on Veterans Day.
Great Clips: On Veterans Day, veterans and active service members can go to participating Great Clips salons and get a free haircut or a free haircut card for a future visit. In addition, non-military customers who get a haircut on Veterans Day at Great Clips salons will also have the opportunity to pay it forward. They can receive a free haircut card to give to an active service member or veteran they know as a way of saying thank you.
Home Depot: Get 10% off your purchase all year.
Office Depot and OfficeMax: These office supplies stores offer 20% off qualifying in-store purchases.
Kohl's: 15% off in-store purchases for active and former military personnel, veterans, and their families on Mondays.
Lovesac: Lovesac is giving military personnel, first responders, healthcare workers, teachers, and veterinary professionals 35% off. Apply for the discount through SheerID™. Offer cannot be combined with any other promotional discounts.
PC Liquidations: PC Liquidations has a goal of giving back. As part of that commitment, they offer a 10% discount for military and veterans.
Rack Room Shoes: Get 10% off your in-store purchase every Tuesday and 20% off on Veterans Day, Memorial Day, and Independence Day

Sport Clips: On Veterans Day, participating Sport Clips locations will provide free haircuts to veterans and active-duty service members with valid proof of service.
Target: Target is offering a 10% discount from October 27 through November 11 for active-duty military and veterans, as well as their spouses and children, to honor their service this Veterans Day.
TOPS: Veterans and military will get 11% off their total purchase on Veterans Day.
Walgreens: Take 20% off eligible regular price items with myWalgreens® in-store only. Offer valid November 8-11.
Veterans Day Military Travel and Recreation Discounts

9/11 Memorial and Museum: Complimentary museum admission to the military and veteran community, including U.S. active and retired military, U.S. military veterans, and Blue and Gold Star Families November 7 through November 11. Because of capacity constraints, reservations are encouraged and can be made on the website here.
Aquarium of the Pacific: Free admission on Veterans Day. To receive free admission, veterans and active military personnel are required to make an online reservation in advance here.
Cincinnati Zoo: Free admission on Veterans Day. This offer also allows military personnel to purchase up to six discounted admission tickets for their immediate family members.
Colonial Williamsburg, Virginia: Free admission during Veterans Day weekend, November 8 through November 11, to all active-duty military, reservists, retirees, veterans, National Guardsmen, and their immediate dependents.
Monticello: Enjoy complimentary admission to Monticello for Veterans Day weekend, November 9 through November 11. Admission is for the Gardens and Grounds Pass or the Highlights Tour.
Mount Vernon: Free admission on Veterans Day. This offer does not extend to family members.
National WWI Museum and Memorial: Free general admission November 8 through November 11.
North Carolina Zoo: Free admission for military personnel and veterans and free admission for up to three accompanying guests during Military Appreciation Week, November 9 through November 15.
San Antonio Zoo: Free admission for active duty, retired, veterans, national guard, and reserves for the month of November. Plus, up to four immediate family members can receive 50% off Any Day Tickets on the date of visit.
